Gates Open For Displaying Vehicles: 8:00 AM

Gates Open for Trade set up:

 7:00 AM And are available the day before with prior notice.

All Pure Electric Vehicles (BEV) including REX (Sorry No Hybrids) are able To Display with a valid admission ticket. When purchasing your tickets select an EV Driver Display Ticket,

and fill out your full vehicle details on completion. This ticket must be printed off and displayed on your arrival. Non compliant display vehicles will be directed to our standard visitors car park.

Facilities available on the day of the event

  • Toilets including Baby Changing Facilities.
  • A selection of catering facilities providing Hot and Cold Food and Drinks.
  • Disabled Parking is available, and a hard standing EV Display area will be available for disabled showing a vehicle disabled badge. Please remember many of the displays will be on grass, although the surface will be flat this might be a difficult surface for some.
  • Please feel free to bring a Picnic, please make sure you tidy up before leaving.

  • What time does it start and finish?

    We are ready for display visitors from 8:30 AM. The event officially opens at 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. 

    Those displaying for the best spots please arrive before 10:00

    Display vehicles are free to leave at anytime. And will not be restricted leaving. 

  • Can displaying vehicles leave at anytime?

    Yes! You can leave at anytime and will not be restricted leaving in anyway. 

  • Are REX Welcome to display?

    Yes! We see them as an integral part of the history of electric cars. And we want to preserve the history and the stories. So REX will always be welcome. 

    Sorry No Hybrids for displays. But more than welcome to park in normal visitor car parks and visit the event. 

  • Can I bring a dog?

    Yes! Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead at all times, please remember to bring your doggie bag and clean up after. 

    Please do not leave your pets in the car on a hot day. 

    No Dogs will be allowed inside the house. 

  • Can Hybrid's Display?

    No! Sorry Hybrid's can not display. But are more than welcome to park in the normal visitors car park and visit the event. 

    We are developing the event for the long term, and are a pure electric display event. With the exeption of REX as we want to preserve the history of the electric car. 

  • Can I bring a picnic?

    Yes! But please remember to tidy up. Rubbish bins are provided but please to help our event. Take your picnic rubbish home with you. 

  • Will EV Charging be available?

    Sadly not on site, but we are looking longterm to have some provision for short range EV. So they are able to enjoy our event through display. 

    But we did consider the local charging infrastructure when deciding on our venue. With Rugby Gridserve Super Hub just down the road from the venue. And also plenty of options again whether you are traveling on the M1, M6 or A14 to the venue.

EV Charging? 

We really wanted to offer a venue that had plenty of charging to help assist everyone, unfortunately to take the event forward it was sadly not possible to find the right site that included charging capacity. After learning from our first four events when we had over 72 destination chargers available, most of these were not used. With many people pre-planning their journey to the event.
However we did consider the charging infrastructure in the surrounding area, including now some super hubs on route. With the network locally continuing to grow we are also wanting to partner up with a Public Charging Provider to help make the experience of travelling to the event an easy one. 
Remember Pre-Plan your journey and maybe charge before the final short leg from the local motorway network or main A-roads on route to the EV Festival. 
If the technology and event location allows, we hope one day to be able to provide some form of charging on site. But we want this to be environmentally right and not working from a diesel generator for an example.

 The Electric Vehicles Festival has already helped and supported many people on their journeys to an electric drive with zero emissions.


Our show regularly attracts many electric vehicle owners, those who have already made the switch and have gone through the many misconceptions associated with “Going Electric”.


 Talking with the owners displaying their vehicles can help you make the right choice before making the switch.
